January 1, 2006Well, there weren’t two dozen of us, but I have to confess to celebrating the entrance into the new year very similarly to the staff of The Escapist. I did crap on Saturday night, and I’m blaming it on the champagne. That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it. Alan had Karaoke Revolution 1, 3, and Party, resulting in a very broad set list. For the record, I attempted “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman”, “It’s the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)”, a duet with Jeff of “I Got You Babe”, “Beat It”, and “Play That Funky Music”. Truly, no night is complete without Wild Cherry.
All-in-all, probably one of the most entertaining New Year’s parties I’ve attended in years. Many thanks to our hostess and the Birthday gent for their hospitality.
